Born and brought up in Kolkata, India, Raja Chakraborty has done his Masters in English literature from Calcutta University and is a frequently-published bilingual poet, writing in English and Bengali. He has penned four critically acclaimed books of English poems so far. In addition, he has also published five books of Bengali rhymes (Chhora) and poems.
