Author: Gopal Lahiri
“While perusing Crossing the Shoreline, you recognize Gopal Lahiri’s poetic ketch is in control with fresh images and striking metaphors on the choppy sea of the creative dial. Like one sure of his idiom, his poems flow with a quiet ferocity urging the readers to join him on a unique sail.” – Sanjeev Sethi.

A book which offers deep insights.
The poet Gopal Lahiri uses all the elements of language to create refreshing imagery in this book. To quote his own words ‘the alphabets rustle’ and resonate. In the poem City Skins, we have ‘woodpeckers write the evening lyrics’. In the section ‘Haibun’ the poet’s h fine control over his craft is on display.
